Living vs. Travel: Defining the Future of Mobility
At Living Vehicle, we’ve always believed in pushing the limits of mobile living. As we expand our 2026 product line, we’re excited to formally define two distinct travel trailer categories in our portfolio: Living Trailers and Travel Trailers. Both are engineered with purpose—but tailored to very different lifestyles.
And now, with the launch of the all-electric CyberTrailer (CT), our offerings have expanded even further to meet the needs of true travel-focused adventurers.
So how do these two categories differ—and which one is right for you?
Let’s break it down.

What is a Living Trailer?
A Living Trailer is designed to be lived in—full-time or for extended stays. Unlike typical recreational vehicles (RVs), Living Trailers are not just for weekend camping or short getaways. After all, the way you use the RV is in the name itself “Recreational” Vehicle is just that – something designed for recreation. Living Trailers on the other hand are highly mobile residences with the systems, comfort, and durability you’d expect from a tiny home—but with far more portability.
Living Trailers are road-ready and fully capable of off-grid travel, yet provide the functionality, luxury, and longevity required for real day-to-day living. These models are ideal for those who want to travel and live simultaneously—bringing home with them, wherever they go.
Key Features of Living Trailers:
- Full-size residential appliances
- Spa-inspired bathrooms and full showers
- Dedicated bedrooms and mobile office options
- Ample storage for long-term living
- Advanced off-grid power systems
- Insulation and HVAC systems for all seasons
- RVIA certified for traditional financing
Two Platforms: HD Series and GT Series
Living Trailers are offered in two distinct platforms—each tailored to a different kind of user, tow vehicle, and layout preference.
HD Series (Bumper-Pull) Living Trailers
Models: HD24 and HD30
The HD Series offers bumper-pull convenience with all the functionality of a high-end mobile home.
- HD30: Designed for couples or families (2–6 people), the HD30 includes a private bedroom suite with multiple configurations—king, queen, twin beds, or a mobile office layout for those working remotely or creating on the go.
- HD24: A more compact version of the HD30, ideal for solo travelers or couples who want maximum mobility without compromising key features.
GT Series (Fifth-Wheel) Living Trailers
Models: GT32 and GT39
Built on a fifth-wheel platform, the GT Series offers expanded space and elevated design for those who want the pinnacle of mobile luxury. Like a fifth wheel, the GT (Gooseneck Trailer) is named from the style of hitch connection to the truck. A gooseneck uses a ball hitch and is common for commercial towing, while a fifth wheel uses a kingpin. In fact, there are aftermarket adapters for Gooseneck and Fifth Wheel hitches (and vice versa) depending on your desired hitch setup.
- GT32: Compact but refined, ideal for serious travelers and long-term explorers.
- GT39: The flagship Living Trailer, offering ultimate comfort, off-grid capability, and luxury styling on a rugged platform.
Often referred to as the “luxury motor yacht” of the trailer world, Living Trailers like the GT39 are designed for extended off-grid use while delivering a high-end residential experience on the road.

What is a Travel Trailer?
Where Living Trailers focus on living, Travel Trailers are built around movement. They prioritize tow-ability, efficiency, and mobility, often at the cost of extended comfort and livability.
Travel Trailers are lightweight, easy to tow, and perfect for those who are constantly on the move—spending just a couple of days at each destination before hitting the road again. These models are optimized for adventure-first lifestyles.
Introducing the CyberTrailer (CT): Living Vehicle’s All-Electric Travel Trailer
Living Vehicle’s first dedicated Travel Trailer, the CyberTrailer (CT), is a futuristic evolution of the classic tow-behind camper—designed for those who value mobility, technology, and freedom on the open road.
